環境汚染物質が生体内に侵入した後、各臓器や細胞内で代謝・排泄される過程を明らかにし、その臓器・細胞毒性、特に、生殖器官や神経の発達への影響について分子レベルで解明らかにすることを目的としている。具体的にはPCBや合成女性ホルモンのジエチルスチルベストロール、プラスチックの単体であるビスフェノールAやノニルフェノールの代謝動態と生殖毒性や神経毒性について研究している。同時に、ウシや馬の深刻な病気の診断指標について研究を行っている。 |
